Tampa Bay Rays – Considering that the Rays received a rookie of the year winner in Wil Myers for James Shields after the 2012 season, you’d have thought they could something similar for David Price, who has had a better career than Shields. Instead they wound up getting Nick Franklin from the Seattle Mariners and Drew Smyly from the Tigers. They’re adequate pieces but you’d have thought Tampa Bay would be able to fetch more maybe something similar to what the A’s sent to the Cubs. – Grade C
