On DraftStreet, there is a $100,000 cap, which is used for eight players; three forwards, three guards, a center, and a utility player. In terms of value, should a player cost $15,000, incredible value would be 45 fantasy points. Unlike other daily sites, playing for five times value is not the goal here, as it is nearly impossible to find on a consistent basis. As a $100K salary cap would yield about 225-255 fantasy points for a good night, the best value is normally 2.25 or higher. Anything above 2.25 is a great value.

If you have not played over at DraftStreet, be sure to check the scoring system first, as it varies from other sites. Head over to make your deposit and start playing tonight!

DraftStreet Scoring: PTS: 1 pt, REB: 1.25 pt, AST: 1.5 pt, TO: -1 pt, Missed FT: -0.5 pt, Missed FG: -0.5 pt, STL: 2 pt, BLK: 2pt.

There is a 10-game slate today in the NBA. Get your lineups in as soon as possible. The Sixers and Lakers both play tonight, so expect some points to be scored.

Value Plays

Guard

Victor Oladipo, ORL ($12,913)

It is not common that a player with Oladipo’s price to be in a value column, but since the Magic play the Sixers tonight, Oladipo could go crazy. He has been inconsistent this season, but this matchup is too good to pass up. The Sixers are the worst team in the NBA by far right now, and do not look like they could hold a high school team to under 100 points. Get Oladipo in your lineup.

Forward

Maurice Harkless, ORL ($6,786)

There is something about players that get drafted and then traded that always seem to play with a chip on their shoulders. Harkless is that guy tonight, as the Sixers drafted then traded him last offseason. In addition, Harkless is playing a lot of minutes lately and has reached great value in two of his last three games. With a great matchup tonight, expect a lot of minutes and production for the 20-year-old.

Center

Marc Gasol, MEM ($13,910)

The Gasol brothers play each other tonight, which means one thing: Marc faces the Lakers. With the Lakers being at the bottom of the NBA in rebound percentage, this is a dream matchup for the younger Gasol. Even at his price of just under $14K, expect him to reach good value. 35 fantasy points is a walk in a the park for big men against the Lakers, so Gasol should be able to reach good value tonight.
